It Was Never Just About the Crown: Why I Started Fearlessly Authentic Coaching

Back when I was Miss Wisconsin, I had no idea that years later, I’d be coaching titleholders across the country—not on how to be perfect, but on how to be real.

Fearlessly Authentic Coaching didn’t come from a polished five-year plan or a perfectly timed opportunity. It came from burnout. From sitting in the mess of my mental health. From recognizing that even though I’d won a crown, I still didn’t feel like enough.

And I knew I wasn’t alone.

The Turning Point: From Burnout to Breakthrough

After spending years in nonprofit leadership and business development, I hit a wall—hard. I was exhausted, anxious, and felt like I had completely lost myself. So I quit my job with zero clue what was next.

What followed was months of deep healing: therapy, self-reflection, slowing down, and peeling back all the layers of performance I had worn for years.

In that stillness, something new began to grow. I realized what I really wanted to do: help women—especially those in pageantry—redefine success and find their power in authenticity, not perfection.

That’s when Fearlessly Authentic Coaching was born.

I Didn’t Want to Build Another “How to Win” Program

I wanted to create a space where women felt safe to grow.

A place where pageant prep wasn’t just about headshots, interview practice, or walking patterns (though yes, we do those too). I wanted to focus on the stuff that truly makes a titleholder unforgettable: mindset, communication, and purpose-driven service.

Because here’s the truth:

• Your performance doesn’t matter if your self-worth is falling apart.
  
• Your community work won’t resonate if it’s not rooted in your heart.
  
• Your answers won’t land if you’re too caught up in what the judges want to hear instead of who you actually are.
  

You’re Not Meant to Shape-Shift Your Way to Success

So many of the women I work with come to me feeling like they’ve done everything right—but something still feels off. They’ve perfected the prep, studied the questions, and worked their tails off, but they’re still wondering:

“Why do I still feel like I’m not enough?”

Because you were never supposed to earn your worth. You were never supposed to chase your value. You were supposed to build from it.

That’s the shift we make inside Fearlessly Authentic Coaching.

Mindset First. Always.

I set out to be a communication coach. But early on, it became clear: until we get the mindset right, none of the outer work sticks.

You can crush your mock interview, but still spiral in comparison after.
You can win the crown, but question if it was a mistake.
You can achieve your goal, but feel totally lost the moment the confetti settles.

That’s why we start with what’s going on internally—your beliefs, your fears, your identity. And then we build outward. Together.

You Don’t Have to Choose Between Excellence and Well-Being

Somewhere along the way, many of us were taught that success means sacrifice. That to be “driven,” you have to put your joy on hold. That rest is weakness, that boundaries are optional, and that you have to hustle your way into being worthy of that crown.

That’s a lie. And it’s one I’m determined to help women unlearn.

You can be ambitious and rest. You can work hard and enjoy the process. You can be vulnerable and powerful. You can win and stay grounded in who you are.

You don’t need to become someone else to be successful—you need to become more of you.

I started this business because I wanted women to experience the kind of personal transformation that lasts far beyond the stage. The kind that shifts how you see yourself, how you show up, how you lead.

Yes, we prep for pageants. But more than that?
We prep for life—with courage, clarity, and confidence.
